This street was my fave in the entire city, partially because of the legend that follows this street. When I saw this street, I noticed this cat that jumped off a window and started walking down the middle of the street, as you see in the picture, she did not move from the middle of the street, so I asked a local about this and he told me the legend about the old witch.

The legend goes that in the 16th century a town witch (she was considered a witch, but she was more of a healer) lived in that street. She mostly helped people, however everyone feared her and her powers. So when the witch hunts began she was scared for her life, seeing how most of the twonspeople was after her, she packed her most valued things and tried to escape, however the townspeople were already in her street, in fear for her own life, she called up all of her cats and ran onto the street, when the villagers got to her they murdered her, her cats tried to protect her, but failed. The legend says, that the witch's blood ran like a river trough the exact middle of the street, when the townspeople left the murder site, the cats gathered and drank the blood of the witch that was in the street. The legend says that, because of that the witch lived on in the cats and that that is the reason cats like walking in the middle of the street.

That local urban legend was interesting to hear, and see actually experience it (in a way) when the cat walked like that. I guess there's always some truth, even in the whackiest legends!
